Premium bathroom with onyx and marble

The task

Onyx and marble in a bathroom create an expressive interior where the stone becomes the main element. Such work needs an exact layout, careful cutting and neat joints.

What was done

• developing the layout of slabs and decorative inserts;
• selecting slabs by pattern, including book-match;
• complex cutting, shaped inserts and inlays;
• cladding walls and floors, protecting the stone.

Materials and format

Onyx is translucent and expressive with backlighting, marble gives a classic pattern. For complex shapes we use waterjet cutting, and book-match for a symmetrical pattern.

Stages of work

1. Consultation and measuring: we assess the volume and the substrate and recommend a material.
2. Quote: we fix the cost by format, volume and additional works.
3. Substrate preparation: grinding, waterproofing, levelling, level control.
4. Cutting and installation according to the layout, levelling system.
5. Grouting, cleaning and handover of the result together with you.
