Book-match and vein-match installation
Book-match and vein-match: laying slabs so that the pattern of the stone or porcelain continues symmetrically on neighbouring slabs. It needs a layout before installation starts and careful trimming. We calculate the cost in a quote because it depends on the material and the scheme.
What book-match and vein-match are
Book-match: two neighbouring slabs mirror the pattern like an open book. Vein-match: the veins continue from slab to slab. The effect is beautiful but needs slabs from one batch and an exact order of laying.
How we work
We lay the slabs out before applying the adhesive, fix the order and take the joints into account. This scheme needs a larger allowance for trimming, so the allowance in the material consumption calculator for book-match is higher than for straight laying.
