Large-format tile installation in Kyiv
We install large-format tile and porcelain stoneware on floors, walls and furniture: from 600×600 to 1600×3200 mm and larger. The cost depends on the slab format, and we draw up an exact quote after a consultation and a site survey. Prices by format and a calculator are below.
Surfaces and formats
Tile is considered large-format when one of its sides exceeds 60 cm. We work with formats from 600×600 to 1600×3200 mm and larger, and with slabs of different thickness: thin (3 mm), standard and thick.
- floors, including underfloor heating;
- walls and cladding of bathrooms and kitchens;
- backsplashes, stairs, fireplaces, terraces;
- cladding of furniture and countertops.
Why large format needs its own technology
A 160×320 cm slab can weigh more than 70 kilograms and is very fragile during installation. That is why you need a crew, special suction cups, a level substrate and adhesives for large formats, applied to both the substrate and the slab.
The unevenness of the substrate for a large format must not exceed 2 mm per 2 metres, so we treat substrate preparation as a separate job and check the level with a laser.
