Kitchen countertop and island of natural stone

The task

A kitchen countertop deals with load, water and heat every day. Stone withstands this better than many materials, and a stone island becomes the centre of the kitchen.

What was done

• measuring and templates for the sink and the hob;
• choosing the stone and the edge: chamfer, rounding, profile;
• cutting, processing and cutouts from the templates;
• installation, fitting on site and silicone joints.

Materials and format

Granite is durable and suits an active kitchen, quartzite combines strength and beauty, marble gives a striking pattern but needs care. We will help you choose the material for your style.

Stages of work

3. Substrate preparation: grinding, waterproofing, levelling, level control.
4. Cutting and installation according to the layout, levelling system.
5. Grouting, cleaning and handover of the result together with you.
