Large-format tile and porcelain floor

The task

A large-format floor looks monolithic and is easier to care for, but it needs a perfectly flat substrate and a special technology. A 160×320 cm slab can weigh more than 70 kilograms, so a crew with suction cups does the work.

What was done

• checking the level with a laser, grinding and levelling the substrate;
• waterproofing and underfloor heating if needed;
• laying out the slabs, cutting and double adhesive application;
• tile levelling system, grouting, handover.

Materials and format

We work with formats from 600×600 to 1600×3200 mm and larger, and with thin, standard and thick slabs. Prices by format and a calculator are on the service page.

Stages of work

1. Consultation and measuring: we assess the volume and the substrate and recommend a material.
2. Quote: we fix the cost by format, volume and additional works.
3. Substrate preparation: grinding, waterproofing, levelling, level control.
4. Cutting and installation according to the layout, levelling system.
5. Grouting, cleaning and handover of the result together with you.
