Travertine and limestone facade and walls

The task

Travertine and limestone give the facade a calm, expensive look and suit both modern and classic houses. It is important to choose the slab format, the adhesive and the water-repellent treatment correctly.

What was done

• selecting slabs by shade and texture from one batch;
• cladding walls, the plinth and entrance elements;
• joints on a single line and protecting the stone with a water-repellent compound;
• care and recommendations for use.

Materials and format

Travertine is warm and porous, so for exterior work it is treated with protective compounds. Limestone has a soft natural tone and goes well with dark windows and metal.

Stages of work

1. Consultation and measuring: we assess the volume and the substrate and recommend a material.
2. Quote: we fix the cost by format, volume and additional works.
3. Substrate preparation: grinding, waterproofing, levelling, level control.
4. Cutting and installation according to the layout, levelling system.
5. Grouting, cleaning and handover of the result together with you.
