Aesthetics and Logic: How to Design the Perfect Interior with XL Porcelain Stoneware

Design with large format requires a different way of thinking. M-STONE specialists do not just lay tile: we take part in developing the layout map, so that every joint is justified and the pattern of the stone is revealed 100%.

• Visual effects: “butterfly” (bookmatch) and endless veins

When we work with marble or onyx textures, it is extremely important to keep the direction of the pattern. The collections of many brands include “A” and “B” slabs for creating a mirror image. We select the sheets carefully so that a single natural picture is created on the walls of your bathrooms in the RiverStone or Skyline residential complexes.

• 45° mitre: jewellery precision

External corners are the face of the craftsman. We make a 45-degree mitre (Jolly) followed by a micro-chamfer. This makes the corner sharp but safe, creating the illusion of a monolithic block of stone. No plastic or aluminium profiles: only the pure aesthetics of stone.

• Hidden systems and utilities

Large-format tile makes it possible to build hidden inspection hatches that blend into the overall background. We also integrate hidden shower drains into porcelain stoneware and install countertop sinks made of the same material, creating monolithic countertops.

• Logistics in a metropolis

Kyiv is a densely built city. Lifting a 1000×3000 mm slab to the 25th floor of a residential complex in the city centre is a quest of its own.

We visit in advance to measure the lifts and stair flights.

If necessary, we organise lifting through a window using special equipment.

We use protective cases and cassettes for safe transport around the city.

M-STONE is your partner in creating premium interiors. We work all over Kyiv: Podil, Holosiivo, Obolon, and we also travel to Irpin, Bucha and Kozyn.
