Where it is used

Granite is one of the strongest natural stones: it is used for exterior cladding, foundations, paving setts and tiles, stairs, columns, countertops and windowsills. It resists frost, moisture and abrasion and takes polishing and heat treatment (flamed) well.

Good to know

Granite hardly absorbs water and needs no complicated care. Colour and pattern depend on the deposit and the batch, so the final choice of slabs is best made from samples.
